But first…

The island of Cagbalete currently has no electricity. Construction of a solar farm is in progress c/o Meralco which will power the whole of Cagbalete Island soon. We have generators for limited use per arrangement depending on booking (6pm to 6am only).

Also…

Check tide schedules. Cagbalete Island has this unique desert-like feature during low tides. If you don’t want to walk far in case boat cannot dock close to shore, make sure you talk to your boatman regarding options. Other reminders

1. We have overhead tanks/ running water for toilets and baths but not for drinking

2. Bring your own toiletries, towels, blankets; pillows and mats (for tent guests)

3. Corkage on alcohol is P100 per hard drink, P50 per beer bottle

4. We currently do not have a restaurant, but you can cook on-site

5. Kitchen utensils, LPG tanks are for rent for a minimal fee but use of grill is free

6. Plugging of water heaters, rice cookers, hair dryer, hair iron, and other heating appliances is strictly prohibited as this will overload our generators (electricity will shut off).
